Silent Edge turned 9 this year and I made this one to help with the celebrations

Cake pops

Cake pops are a great way of using up left over sponge when you've had to carve a cake into shape. I'm not sure if I was more pleased with my DIY efforts in making the stand though!

Beach 40th cake

I was asked to do a 40th cake for Lou who had celebrated her birthday with a trip to the Maldives. I enjoyed coming up with a way to do the sand on this one - coloured sugar seemed to do the trick!

Temple Island wedding cake

Chelsea had chosen the beautiful Temple Island in Henley for her wedding earlier this month. She wanted something a bit different for her cake so settled on the Temple being the top tier. The addition of the lavender, which can be found all over the island, just lifted the other tiers.

Mystery Machine cake

Leonie's favourite TV show is Scooby Doo which meant that the Mystery Machine was a great choice for her 6th birthday cake.
